Potential benefits
Tadalafil is a prescription treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED). With sexual stimulation, it can help you:
Get and keep an erection firm enough for sex.
An as-needed dose can work for up to 36 hours.
A daily dose means no planning around timing.
It works when you're sexually aroused, so you stay in control of the moment.
Individual results vary. Benefits are not guaranteed and depend on your provider's evaluation and your plan.
Why it matters
Erectile dysfunction affects millions of men in the U.S. and becomes more common with age. Because erections depend on healthy blood flow, ED can be an early sign of other health issues.
That's why your provider reviews your heart health and every medicine you take before prescribing.
What does it do
Individual results vary.

Pharmacy & compliance
If a provider prescribes treatment, your medication is dispensed by a state-licensed pharmacy and shipped to your door. Depending on your prescription, it may be a commercially manufactured product or a compounded preparation.
Our partner pharmacy is The Pharmacy Hub (Miami, FL). CAPO Health is not a pharmacy and does not compound, manufacture or dispense medications. Availability of certain medications or formulations can vary by state.

Before you begin
A little clarity goes a long way.
Only as your provider directs: either as needed before sexual activity or as a lower daily dose. Never take more than one dose in 24 hours.
Tadalafil comes in different strengths. Your provider recommends a strength and how to take it — or tells you if it is not right for you — based on your health history and the medicines you take.
Anyone who takes nitrates (such as nitroglycerin or "poppers") or riociguat, or who has been told to avoid sexual activity because of heart problems. Tell your provider about every medicine you take.
No. Insurance is not required. Your price is shown in your online visit, before checkout, and your provider confirms the details after reviewing your file.
If the licensed provider decides that treatment is not appropriate for you, you are notified with the reason and no medication is dispensed. Any amount you have already paid is refunded in full to your original payment method. Not everyone qualifies, and the provider may recommend a different path.
Taking tadalafil with nitrates (nitroglycerin, isosorbide, "poppers") or riociguat can cause a sudden, dangerous drop in blood pressure. Because tadalafil lasts longer, ask your provider how long to wait before any nitrate.
Seek emergency care for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, or sudden decrease or loss of hearing. Sexual activity puts strain on the heart.
Review every medicine you take, including alpha-blockers, blood pressure medicines and some HIV or antifungal medicines. Limit alcohol. Read the full safety information below.
The online visit takes just a few minutes. If a licensed provider decides treatment isn't right for you, nothing is dispensed and you're refunded in full.

Tadalafil is a prescription medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections, including HIV.
take any nitrate medicine (such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide) or use recreational nitrates ("poppers"), take riociguat, or are allergic to tadalafil. Combining tadalafil with nitrates or riociguat can cause a sudden, unsafe drop in blood pressure. In a medical emergency, tell the care team when you last took tadalafil.
have heart problems or have been told sexual activity is unsafe for you, have had a heart attack, stroke or irregular heartbeat, have low or uncontrolled high blood pressure, have liver or kidney problems, have an eye condition such as retinitis pigmentosa or have had sudden vision loss, have a blood cell condition or a penis deformity, or take alpha-blockers, other ED treatments, or HIV, antifungal or antibiotic medicines.
An erection that will not go away (priapism) — get medical help if it lasts more than 4 hours; sudden vision loss in one or both eyes; sudden decrease or loss of hearing, sometimes with ringing or dizziness; a drop in blood pressure that can cause fainting; and chest pain during sexual activity. Stop and get emergency help if any of these occur.
Headache, upset stomach, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, stuffy or runny nose, and pain in the arms or legs.
Tadalafil is dispensed by a state-licensed pharmacy only with a patient-specific prescription issued after a medical evaluation. Depending on your prescription, it may be a commercially manufactured product or a compounded preparation; compounded preparations are not approved by the FDA. Your pharmacy label shows what was dispensed. Your price is shown in your online visit, before checkout; if no prescription is issued, your order is refunded in full. This summary does not include everything you need to know — talk to your provider and read your pharmacy label. To report side effects, contact your provider or the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088. Individual results vary.
CAPO Health is a technology platform. CAPO Health is not a pharmacy and does not practice medicine. Medical services are provided by independent, state-licensed healthcare providers who exercise their own clinical judgment. Prescriptions are issued only after a provider reviews your information and determines that treatment is appropriate for you. Not everyone qualifies, and no treatment, outcome or eligibility is guaranteed.
Most medications referenced on this site are compounded preparations prepared by U.S. pharmacies licensed in the state where they dispense. Compounded drugs are not approved by the FDA and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. They are not generic versions of, or equivalent to, any branded medication. Some medications, such as oral tablets, may be dispensed as commercially manufactured products; your pharmacy label shows what was dispensed. Clinical evidence for wellness uses of NAD+, Lipo-B and glutathione is limited.
GLP-1 receptor agonists carry risks, including but not limited to nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, pancreatitis, gallbladder disease and, in animal studies, thyroid C-cell tumors. Discuss your full medical history, including any personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, with your provider. Every other treatment carries its own risks: PDE5 inhibitors must never be combined with nitrates. Read the Important Safety Information on each treatment page. Product-specific risks, contraindications and side effects are listed in the Important Safety Information for each medication, available from every treatment card and from the footer.
